Volleyball Recap: Taunton Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canton, Taunton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Durfee Hilltoppers. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Hilltoppers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The win didn't come easy: Durfee scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 22-25, 25-19.

Taunton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Durfee, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Taunton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against King Philip Regional on the 25th. As for Durfee, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Brockton on the 24th.
