Softball Recap: Lake Country Lutheran's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Lake Country Lutheran won the last time they faced Living Word Lutheran and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lightning's pitcher stepped up to hand the Timberwolves a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Lightning, who have now won four games by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Ava Budnik, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep Living Word Lutheran off the board.

On the hitting side, Lake Country Lutheran let Eden Mueller and Mia Prost run wild. Mueller got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI, while Prost got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Katelyn Meulendyke was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
