Volleyball Game Preview: Blair Bears vs. Platteview Trojans

Blair hasn't had much luck against Platteview recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bears will look to defend their home court against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m.

Blair came up short against Gretna on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Blair was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-23, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Platteview posted their closest win since September 18th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Malcolm 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Platteview got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 17-25, 25-20, 27-29, 15-12.

Platteview's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Blair, their loss dropped their record down to 20-12.
