After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saratoga, Palo Alto was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Lynbrook as they made off with a 14-2 win. The victory continues a trend for Palo Alto in their matchups with Lynbrook: they've now won seven in a row.

Maya Rajgopal was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Riannah Soliman was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and three RBI.

Palo Alto hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Palo Alto now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lynbrook, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Palo Alto will head out to square off against Saratoga at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Falcons have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Lynbrook, they will face off against MacDonald at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Condor have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.1 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
