Basketball Recap: Odessa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Odessa was the 71-54 winner over St. John-Endicott when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a hard 46-28 fall against the Eagles on Tuesday. The Tigers were down 41-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Odessa saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kolter Watson posted 12 points.

Odessa now has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. John-Endicott, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Odessa will be playing in front of their home fans against Almira-Coulee-Hartline at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. John-Endicott, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Upper Columbia Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
