Leading Clayton to victory were Justice Mitchell and Andrew Grimes. Mitchell dropped a double-double on 17 points and 18 rebounds, while Grimes dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Mitchell has scored at least 25% of Clayton's points. Jeremiah Henson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Clayton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Northern Guilford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
