Soccer Recap: Arkansas City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Winfield last Thursday, Arkansas City came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Andover Trojans on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Arkansas City of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Arkansas City has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-1 record this season. As for Andover, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7-2.

Looking ahead, Arkansas City will venture away from home to take on Newton on Thursday. As for Andover, they will take on Goddard at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
