Jenkins waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They secured a 64-58 W over the KACHEA Wildcats. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 106th in Kentucky, while the Wildcats are ranked 252nd in Tennessee), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jenkins is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for KACHEA, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-11.

Jenkins has already played their next contest (against Knott County Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. KACHEA will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tri-Cities Christian at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
