Basketball Recap: Carle Place Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Carle Place had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Floral Park Memorial Knights and fell 79-48.

Floral Park Memorial pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Carle Place does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Floral Park Memorial, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kellenberg Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
