Baseball Recap: Concord Academy Comes Up Short

Concord Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Berwick Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Concord Academy fell just short of Berwick Academy by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. Concord Academy hasn't had much luck with Berwick Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Concord Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Young, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Concord Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Berwick Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Concord Academy and Berwick Academy will both be playing Tournament Opponent the next time they take the field. Berwick Academy will host Tournament Opponent on Friday, while Concord Academy will host them on Saturday.
