Basketball Game Preview: Woodlawn Warriors vs. Forest Park Foresters

The Woodlawn Warriors will take on the Forest Park Foresters on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Woodlawn has struggled recently with nine defeats in a row, while Forest Park will arrive with four straight wins.

On Wednesday, Woodlawn was beaten by Milford Mill Academy 84-52. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Millers are ranked 87th).

Forest Park played against Douglass and won via forfeit.

Forest Park's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Woodlawn, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
