Lexington was forced to take a big loss against McNairy Central on Thursday, they got the better of them on Friday. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bobcats 4-2. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Bobcats on Thursday, they had to take a 12-1 defeat.

Carly Williams was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Devin Brown, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 23-13. As for McNairy Central, their loss dropped their record down to 28-7-2.

As of now, neither Lexington nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
