Lexington was forced to take a big loss against McNairy Central on Thursday, they got the better of them on Friday. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bobcats 4-2. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Bobcats on Thursday, they had to take a 12-1 defeat.
Carly Williams was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
