Mauston barely beat Adams-Friendship the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Eagles blew past the Green Devils 3-0 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Mauston won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-22.

Lillyan Wilke paced Mauston's offense, picking up nine kills. Wilke got some help from Rylea Mehne and her 13 assists. Mehne also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Catie Lavold, racking up four apiece.

Mauston is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Adams-Friendship, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Mauston has already played their next game (against Colby), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Adams-Friendship, they will venture away from home to face off against Abbotsford at 9:00 a.m. on the 27th.
