Parish Episcopal is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Mojave. The Parish Episcopal Panthers fell just short of the Mojave Rattlers by a score of 58-55. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

C.J. Shaw was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 32 points and five assists for Mojave. Shaw's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zacarrion Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

Parish Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Mojave, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Parish Episcopal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 77-47 win against Liberty on the 20th. As for Mojave, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-59 defeat against Boulder Creek on the 20th.
