Basketball Game Preview: Tularosa Wildcats vs. Ruidoso Warriors

The Tularosa Wildcats will take on the Ruidoso Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tularosa will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Tularosa proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 45) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-49 victory over New Mexico Military Institute. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted against the Colts since February 12, 2020.

Meanwhile, Ruidoso didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Dexter on Friday, but they still walked away with a 63-58 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Demons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Tularosa's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Ruidoso, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Tularosa didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Ruidoso when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 64-58 victory.
