The Crossroads Christian Colts will head out to  challenge the Ridgecroft Rams  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Ridgecroft took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Crossroads Christian, who comes in off a win.
Crossroads Christian took a loss when they played away from home  on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. They came out on top against Statesville Christian by a score of  4-1.
 Bobby Bobbitt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Bobbitt was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  RBI. Those  hits marked the first that  he  got this season.

 In other pitching news,  Wesley Anderson looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits any time he's  pitched this season.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Easton Smith, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. He also  hit a  double, marking his first of the season.  Cody Paschall was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing  Three bases.
 Crossroads Christian was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Ridgecroft came up short against  Halifax Academy on Monday, falling  14-3. The Rams have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.
 Ridgecroft saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lucas Cutchins, who  went 1-for-3 with one  RBI.
 Crossroads Christian pushed their record up to 3-1 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ridgecroft, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
