 After a string of ten wins, Point Arena's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They lost  21-15 to the Credo Gryphon. Point Arena was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Credo apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  last Friday.
  Hattie Piper was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more  stolen bases the last three times she's  played.  Serina Azbill was another key contributor,  going 3-for-5 with four  RBI, a  stolen base,  and a  run.
 On Credo's side,  Aliana Martinez was a standout: she got on base  in all six of her plate appearances with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bryn Weigel-Murphy, who  scored four  runs while  getting on base  in five of her six plate appearances.
 Point Arena's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Credo, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Point Arena will head out on the road to  square off against  South Fork at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Point Arena's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last seven contests. As for Credo, they have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Lower Lake at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
