Soccer Recap: Waynesville Comes Up Short

Waynesville was the 1-0 winner over Poplar Bluff when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mules on Thursday. Waynesville fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Poplar Bluff since Thursday.

Waynesville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Poplar Bluff, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waynesville will welcome Neosho at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Waynesville are facing Neosho at the right time seeing as Neosho are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Poplar Bluff, they will face off against Dexter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
