Recap: Texas Wind vs. Stephenville FAITH Knights
It was a good run, but Texas Wind unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 33-32 to Stephenville FAITH. Texas Wind has not had much luck with Stephenville FAITH recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Stephenville FAITH can attribute much of their success to Bailey Necessary, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Necessary has scored all season.
Texas Wind's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-11. As for Stephenville FAITH, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.
Texas Wind didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-25 defeat vs. Meyer on the 9th. Stephenville FAITH has also already played their next matchup, a 47-26 win against Non Varsity Opponent on the 9th.
