Cambridge had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Brooklyn Holtze paced Cambridge's offense, picking up 28 kills. Holtze got some help from Mallory Springer and her 28 assists. Springer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Despite the loss, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller still got an impressive performance from Lily Hrasky, who had 25 digs. Hrasky is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Cambridge's victory bumped their record up to 28-7. As for Sumner-Eddyville-Miller, they moved to 27-7 with that loss, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.
