Norwalk owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over the Pella Dutch. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won four games in a row.

Norwalk pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pella, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Dutch beat Norwalk by a score of 8-3 later that day.
