Davian Stephenson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Davian Stephenson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Chowchilla to the win on Friday. Stephenson rushed for 290 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 87 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.7) per game. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 66 yards.
Chowchilla pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Stephenson will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Minarets on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Talan Lamattina Leads Liberty over Minarets
Talan Lamattina produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Liberty to the win on Friday. Lamattina rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Minarets, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Lamattina. Lamattina rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries the last time he and the Mustangs duked it out back in October of 2023.

Xaidyn Camacho Has Career Rushing Day
Xaidyn Camacho produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Riverdale to the win on Friday. Camacho rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 146 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Yosemite's probably not too fond of Camacho given he always seems to get the better of them. When Camacho last faced the Badgers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Smith Came Up Big in Fowler's 55-29 Defeat
Fowler had to settle for second on Friday, but Jerod "Bubba" Smith sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Smith as he threw for 396 yards and four touchdowns.
Smith and Fowler will square off against Riverdale at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Smith up against the Cowboys' star quarterback Xaidyn Camacho. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

Ethan Dunn Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Liberty got the W thanks in part to Ethan Dunn playing the best football he has all season. Dunn rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making four total tackles.
For the year, Dunn has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 43.1 rushing yards per game.
