Pinellas Park was the 21-0 winner over Gibbs when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pinellas Park Patriots fell 19-6 to the Gibbs Gladiators on Thursday. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pinellas Park's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Gibbs, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (St. Petersburg 12.1, Pinellas Park 10.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Gibbs will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. Gibbs' defense has only allowed 8.3 points per game this season, so Northeast's offense will have their work cut out for them.
