Southeast Raleigh faced Cleveland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bulldogs took a hard  28-10 fall against the Rams. The  contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.

 Southeast Raleigh lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Christian Freeman, who rushed for 98 yards on only 12 carries.  Cam Bullock also helped out with an impressive 100  receiving yards.
  Kaleb Ferrell produced another solid  effort rushing for 187 yards and three  TDs while picking up 8.9 yards per carry for Cleveland. Those  187  rushing yards gave  Ferrell a new career-high.
Southeast Raleigh moved to 6-3 with that  defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Cleveland, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
 Southeast Raleigh will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Garner at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 31st. That  game will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Freeman and  Alijah Clarke. As for Cleveland, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  62-6  victory against Smithfield-Selma on the 24th.
