Basketball Recap: Wells' Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Wells had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They skirted past the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls 52-50. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 61-51 win the Seagulls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Wells' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Old Orchard Beach, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Wells will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Spruce Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Old Orchard Beach, they will head out to square off against Winthrop at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
