Pana entered their tilt with Carlinville on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They didn't even let the Cavaliers on the board, marking their second-straight 2-0 shutout. The Panthers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Cavaliers, so the Panthers were just returning the favor.

Pana easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8.

Pana's record is now 25-7. As for Carlinville, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 18-11.

Coming up, Pana will face off against Litchfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carlinville, they will take on Carrollton in a tournament on Saturday.
