Volleyball Recap: Kokomo Comes Up Short

Kokomo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Harrison Raiders.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-5.

Harrison can attribute much of their success to Ian McKinney, who had eight assists and six aces. That's the most aces McKinney has posted over his last 16 matches.

Kokomo's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Harrison, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Harrison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Covenant Christian on the 26th. Hopefully Kokomo paid attention to the Raiders' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
