Volleyball Game Preview: Rolling Meadows Mustangs vs. Hoffman Estates Hawks

The Rolling Meadows Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Hoffman Estates Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Rolling Meadows came up short against Maine South and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Hoffman Estates also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Fremd by a score of 2-0. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14.

Rolling Meadows now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Hoffman Estates, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-18.

Rolling Meadows beat Hoffman Estates 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
