Volleyball Recap: Climax-Scotts Comes Up Short

Climax-Scotts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Quincy Orioles.

Climax-Scotts' loss dropped their record down to 18-4-5. As for Quincy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8-3 record this season.

Climax-Scotts didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Colon on the 9th. As for Quincy, they will take on Reading at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
