Baseball Recap: Woodlawn-B.R. Takes a Loss

Woodlawn-B.R. was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the West Feliciana Saints, falling 23-4.

Noah Arroyo was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Gray, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Woodlawn-B.R.'s defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for West Feliciana, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-6.

Coming up, Woodlawn-B.R. will head out to face off against Southern Lab at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southern Lab will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Woodlawn-B.R. surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Feliciana, they will square off against St. Michael at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
