Softball Recap: Verrado Vipers vs. Cactus Shadows Falcons

After flying high against Lake Havasu last Tuesday, Verrado came back down to earth. The Verrado Vipers fell just short of the Cactus Shadows Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Verrado has struggled against Cactus Shadows recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Abbey Feld spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in ten consecutive pitching appearances.
