Basketball Recap: Wapanucka Comes Up Short

Wapanucka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Boswell Scorpions, falling 43-12. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Scorpions from their previous meeting back in February.

Wapanucka's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Boswell, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Wapanucka will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Stringtown at 6:00 p.m. on December 9. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Boswell, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 39-38 loss against Calera on the 20th.
