Corcoran had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Nuview Bridge Knights on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won 16 matchups in a row.

Brayden Espinoza was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruben Alvarez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Corcoran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nuview Bridge only posted an OBP of .222.

Corcoran pushed their record up to 27-4 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Nuview Bridge, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-11.

Corcoran didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Pioneer on the 7th. Nuview Bridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
