Softball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

Frontier had lost seven straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 3-11 to make it eight. They came up short against the Twin Lakes Indians, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly ten runs.

Addi Govert was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Hendryx, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Twin Lakes, their record now sits at 13-10-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

On Twin Lakes' side, the team relied heavily on Miya Clerget, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Rylyn Rush was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Coming up, Frontier will look to defend their home field on Thursday against South Newton at 4:30 p.m. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rebels have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
