Softball Preview: Enka Jets vs. Pisgah Bears
The Enka Jets will head out to face off against the Pisgah Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Enka will be looking to extend their current 18-game winning streak.
Enka's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against North Buncombe by a score of 3-0.
Meanwhile, Pisgah got the win against East Henderson on Tuesday by a conclusive 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.
Sadie Messer looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
