North Central came into Friday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the York Prep Patriots 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since February 17th.

North Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Truesdale, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

North Central picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-7. As for York Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-3-1 record this season.
