Soccer Game Preview: Tri-County RVT vs. Innovation Academy

The Tri-County RVT Cougars will head out to square off against the Innovation Academy Red Tailed Hawk at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-County RVT's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tri-County RVT fell victim to Nantucket and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Whalers, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Tri-County RVT can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 297th, while Nantucket are ranked 83rd).

Meanwhile, Innovation Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Boston Collegiate on Friday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Innovation Academy have lost by just one goal.

Tri-County RVT's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Innovation Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
