Basketball Recap: Cotter Comes Up Short

Cotter lost against Sloan-Hendrix back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cotter Warriors lost 46-23 to the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Greyhounds are ranked 20th).

This is the second loss in a row for Cotter and nudges their season record down to 10-12. As for Sloan-Hendrix, they pushed their record up to 27-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Cotter has already played their next game (against Norfork), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sloan-Hendrix has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Walnut Ridge.
