Basketball Recap: Hillsboro/Central Valley Comes Up Short

Hillsboro/Central Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 65-42 to the Wahpeton Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the H-CV Burros of the 62-58 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Hillsboro/Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wahpeton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Hillsboro/Central Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Milbank at 3:00 p.m. on January 11th. As for Wahpeton, they will head out on the road to face off against Lisbon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lisbon will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Wahpeton surely won't give up without a fight.
