West Lincoln had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Maiden Blue Devils. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 11-7 win back in March.
Kaitlyn Carpenter was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. Kaylin Pardo was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
West Lincoln pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. West Lincoln has already played their next matchup, an 11-6 win against Bandys on the 30th. Maiden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
