Basketball Game Preview: Atlanta International Eagles vs. Dominion Christian Knights

The Atlanta International Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Dominion Christian Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Atlanta International has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with eight straight losses, while Dominion Christian will come in with three straight wins.

Atlanta International is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Whitefield Academy two weeks ago (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Atlanta International was dealt a 74-31 defeat at the hands of Whitefield Academy. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-18.

The losing side was boosted by Marco Weik, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oscar Garcia-Ide, who earned four points.

Meanwhile, Dominion Christian greeted the New Year with with a 67-50 victory over Praise Academy.

Atlanta International's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Dominion Christian, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Things could have been worse for Atlanta International, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-49 loss to Dominion Christian in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. Can Atlanta International avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
