Basketball Recap: James River Comes Up Short

James River lost against Patrick County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The James River Knights fell 58-48 to the Patrick County Cougars.

James River has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Patrick County, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Glenvar the next time they take the court. James River will host Glenvar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Patrick County will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
