Baseball Recap: Rich Township Drops Season-High Score on Ogden International

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rich Township). They put the hurt on Ogden International with a sharp 12-6 win on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Raptors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Landon Hughes looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brandon Bankhead, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Rich Township's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Ogden International, they moved to 8-3 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rich Township will face off against Thornridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ogden International, they will take on Von Steuben at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Ogden International are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
