With a playoff win on the line, Libertyville rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Considering Libertyville have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Zion-Benton from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Isabella Yarc led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The win was the seventh in a row for Libertyville, bringing their record up to 15-1-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven contests. As for Zion-Benton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Libertyville will challenge Palatine at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Libertyville are facing Palatine at the right time seeing as Palatine are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Zion-Benton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
