Baseball Recap: North Forest Comes Up Short

North Forest fell victim to Northside and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 14-0 to the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

North Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Northside, the win keeps they at an undefeated 16-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Forest will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Scarborough at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.29 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Northside, they will take on Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Panthers have won eight straight at home, while the Eagles won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
