Volleyball Recap: Naugatuck's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Naugatuck waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Wolcott Eagles 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Naugatuck was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-10.

Maya Chatfield paced Naugatuck's offense, picking up 14 kills. Chatfield got some help from Carly Luchina and her 21 assists. Mariana Sales controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Naugatuck's victory bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Wolcott, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

As of now, neither Naugatuck nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
