Basketball Game Preview: Pelham Pythons vs. Sanborn Regional Indians

Pelham has won five straight games at home, while Sanborn Regional has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Pelham Pythons will welcome the Sanborn Regional Indians at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Pelham earned a 50-39 win over Plymouth.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sanborn Regional). They blew past Laconia 89-64 on Wednesday. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 25 points or more this season.

Pelham has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Sanborn Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Pelham won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in January, slipping by Sanborn Regional 68-67. Will Pelham repeat their success, or does Sanborn Regional have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
