Basketball Game Preview: Broadneck Bruins vs. Annapolis Panthers

The Broadneck Bruins will face off against the Annapolis Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Annapolis will be up against a hot Broadneck squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Broadneck simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Northeast 55-11. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-5.

Meanwhile, Annapolis hadn't done well against Chesapeake recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Annapolis put the hurt on Chesapeake with a sharp 58-38 win. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Broadneck's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Annapolis, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Broadneck was able to grind out a solid victory over Annapolis in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 57-48. Will Broadneck repeat their success, or does Annapolis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
