Volleyball Recap: Woodbridge Beats Hylton for Their Fourth Straight Win

Woodbridge came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Hylton Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Woodbridge was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-11.

Leading Woodbridge to victory were Caroline Freeman and Mariana Osorio. Freeman had 17 digs, while Osorio had ten digs and two aces. Freeman is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Woodbridge's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Hylton, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Woodbridge will be taking part in a tournament against James Madison at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hylton, they will welcome Forest Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
