Soccer Recap: Wabash Takes a Loss

Wabash and Eastern combined for 25 shots on goal on Saturday, which explains the impressive seven total goals scored. The Apaches came up short against the Comets, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Wabash were already down 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Prestyn Jones, who's now up to two this season.

Wabash is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8-1. As for Eastern, the win got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wabash will welcome Eastbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wabash's defense better be ready for this one: Eastbrook have averaged an impressive 3.7 goals per game this season. As for Eastern, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Culver Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
